MANDOLIN PLAYER

Hello Folks!

Most of the people who come here probably already know me pretty well, but for those of you who dont' I'll just say a few things.

My absolute number one passion in life is music. I don't know what I would ever do if I didn't have that old mandolin hanging up in my room for me to play. I can honestly say it's my most pirzed posession. One day that little piece of wood's going to make me millions. (Sure it's dreamy, but why not?) Until my fortune finds me I'm just a regular 17 year old gal. I mostly play old time tunes, you might catch me play some bluegrass here and there (if you're lucky.)

There are so many musical influences in my life, too many to name. I'm not going to say any because I'd feel awful if I left someone out because I know I would, but I will say this much, if you've influenced me you know who you are.

To me music isn't just playing a tune, it's getting to know people. In fact I think getting to meet the people I've met through music is the best part. I've found that the coolest, interesting, and intelligent people I've met in my (short) life have been musicians. They are just all around awesome to hang out with.

Now of course, music isn't my whole life, there's a ton of other things I enjoy doing. Some of these things are reading, yoga (relaxation!), hanging out with friends, writing songs, poetry, and stories, geeky computer stuff, going to concerts, listening to music, going on long walks, and lots and lots of other things.
